taken 8 years ago, 3 km from Greystones, Co Wicklow, Ireland

Ballynamuddagh Triangulation Pillar
Ballynamuddagh Triangulation Pillar
Ballynamuddagh trig pillar on a hill between Bray Head and Greystones. The pillar is at 240m above sea level and is easily accessed from the coastal walk between the two towns. This is the view south towards Greystones.
Like most irish pillars, it has no flush bracket; however the top of the pillar does have an OSGB style spider - see O2815 : Spider, Ballynamuddagh Triangulation Pillar.
