Old disused railway bridge over a country road
Old disused railway bridge over a country road
This bridge once was the span over the road for The Cork and Kinsale Junction Railway which closed in 1931. There are no reminders on the main road now of the existence of this railway apart from bridges and cuttings... bar a plaque on this bridge (on both sides) which read "KINSALE RAILWAY :: 1863 - 1931"
