Pillbox (FW3/26 variant): DoB ID: e31965

This unusual rectangular structure is a type 26 (variant) pillbox built into a former barn, one of the more visible remains of Beaulieu's WWII defences, most of which were hidden within existing buildings rather than purpose built. It would have been manned when necessary by 3 members of the Home Guard.
