A concrete pillbox with commanding views of the valley from above the Horseshoe Pass. It was the last defensive position of the Clwydian Range Stop Line that ran from Mostyn to Llangollen via Gronant, Dyserth, Prestatyn, Rhuallt, Bodfari, and Landegla.
