The coastal plain between the Cooley Mountains and Carlingford Lough
This small area of coastal plain centred on the village of Omeath terminates about a mile south where the Carlingford Mountains reach the sea. The plain consists of a series of platforms into which rejuvenated rivers have incised deep valleys. The image was taken from the Clermont Pass Road.
