I took this because I admired the chimneys, and am a little surprised that it is not a listed building but the building on each side is. The one partly shown on the left is 'The Malt House', Grade II, 'Probably late C18 with mid-C19 and mid-C20 alterations' and the School House Garage on the right (see SO8463 : Old School House Garage, Ombersley, Worcester) It is an 18C charity school that has been drastically altered, but also Grade II. The plaque in the gable reads:
"This Charity School House/ founded by Richard Lloyd/ of Comhampton in this/ Parish Yeoman/ 1729/ For the instructing such/ children of this Parish in Reading/ English Writing and Arithmetic/ only whose Parents are not assessed/ at above Five Pounds a Year".
