Rottingdean sea-lavender on Rye Harbour Nature Reserve
Rottingdean sea-lavender (Limonium hyblaeum) has colonised chalk cliffs around Rottingdean and Seaford in East Sussex as a garden escape and a small patch appeared here at Rye Harbour around 2002. It is a native of Sicily only described in 1980 and is thought to be spread by gulls.
