Worcestershire County Cricket Ground as seen from the Cathedral
A climb of 235 steps to the top of the tower at Worcester Cathedral affords panoramic views. The dirty brown colour around the pitch was caused by the severe flooding at the end of June 2007 when the Severn river burst its banks leaving plenty of silt and mud. The outfield may look even greener for next summer !
