Castles of Munster: Ightermurragh, Cork - third visit (8)

One of the many fine fireplaces that are on the upper levels. Blackening of the walls are apparent here (as they are elsewhere) as a result of the deliberate destruction of the castle by fire, after its capture during the wars of the 1640s.
