Kirkham Priory

Kirkham Augustinian Priory was founded by Walter L'Espec 1122-1130, who also founded Rievaulx Abbey and dissolved in 1539. The ruins include architectural features from the 12th to 15th centuries and marvellous late 13th century gatehouse.
