Streedagh Point
Streedagh Point
This is a famous locality as it is near to the site where three spanish galleons were wrecked in 1588. The headland comprises gently dipping beds of the Glencar Limestone Formation, of Carboniferous age, which forms the cliffs of nearby Benbulben.
