"Clearing Britain's railways", seen more recently not far away: SP2865 : Leaf-buster train operating through Warwick station. Deployed through the autumn, these trains use a water spray to remove leaves and leaf mulch from the upper surface of the rail, the rail head. The bridge, built around 1850 for Brunel's GWR, has been altered but why or when is not yet known.
