Site of a former bridge, Market Harborough Arm
According to a guide printed in 1970, these narrows are the site of Bridge No 1, which carried a bridleway between Foxton and Gumley. All the bridge numbers have changed since this guide was published, the former Bridge No 4 being Bridge No 5 now etc.
