SH3647 : Mysterious rock feature at Trwyn y Tal

taken 7 years ago, near to Trefor, Gwynedd, Wales

Mysterious rock feature at Trwyn y Tal
A straight rock cut some 80m long near the coast path west of Trefor. Could it be a natural fissure? As there is at least one level and shafts marked nearby, it appears more likely to be a man made feature, presumably cut in a search for iron ore.
