OK, not quite in the Berwyns, but there are a number of these unsurfaced county roads lacing the hills in this area, and they are commonly used by horses, offroad vehicles and bikes. As a result of that, and their age, they have developed a rather worn-in look, but make for good cycling routes if your suspension's up to it.
