NZ7108 : Danby Lodge Danby Lodge was a shooting lodge used by the Dawnay family during the shooting season. It came into the family possession in 1656. Before the lodge opened as the National Park Centre in 1975 a portrait of Catharine Parr hung in one of the rooms.
