Path leaves the road
After following Scarborough Road for a short distance, the Cleveland Way turns off on its way to Ravenscar. The cliffs of Ness Point are seen in the distance.
The Cleveland Way is 110 miles in length and runs between Helmsley and Filey skirting the North York Moors National Park. The stretch of the way along the coast will become part of the England Coast Path which at 2,795 miles is anticipated to be complete in 2020.
