Gwendraeth Fach
"Fach" means "Small". The sister stream, Gwendraeth Fawr [Big], runs about 5km south of this stream, and both join together to form the estuary of Gwendraeth, which then flows into the Bristol Channel at the same point as the Taf and the Tywi.
My Welsh is poor, but I suspect "Gwendraeth" is a version of "white sands". Maybe.
