S.S. Feltria anchor, Davitt's Quay, Dungarvan, Co. Waterford
The inscription on the stone by this anchor reads:- "This Admiralty type anchor was recovered from the World War One wreck of the Cunard ship S.S. Feltria. The 5254 ton Feltria was torpedoed and sunk by German submarine UC 48 on the 5th May 1917 while on route with general cargo and Government stores from New York to Avonmouth with a loss of 45 lives including her master Captain W.G. Price. The wreck now lies 14 miles S.E. of Helvick Head.
