Watergate Street south end - Fethard, County Tipperary
The south end of Watergate Street at Watergate Bridge which crosses the River Clashawley - An Ghlais Alainn. It is a five arched limestone bridge dating from about 1600 and in part may be of mediaeval in date. The Clashawley rises at Laffansbridge (S 1946) and flows through Fethard on the way to its meeting with the River Anner (An Annuir) (S 2430) away to the south-east of Fethard.
