The Darent Valley Path crosses the railway
The Darent Valley Path crosses the railway
The Swanley to Sevenoaks Bat & Ball line was opened on 2nd June 1862 by the London, Chatham & Dover Railway Company. Electric services between Bickley and Sevenoaks were introduced on 6th January 1935.

This is the view from the footpath between Eagle Heights and Eynsford, followed by the Darent Valley Path, where it crosses the line looking, towards Eynsford. The spire of St Martin at Tours Church in Eynsford can just be made out to the right of the crossing.
