Southborough Bourne rises at a number of springs TQ5940 : Chalybeate Spring, TQ5940 : Southborough Bourne, Grosvenor Recreation Ground & TQ5940 : Boggy hollow, Grosvenor Recreation Ground in High Brooms and Castle Hill, then flows northwards, through the Frith Valley and Summerhill Park, to meet the River Medway east of Tonbridge.
The stream was the centre of an iron making industry in Mediaeval times.
