Grade I listed

The church was originally medieval or earlier, but the tower was rebuilt in 1765. The north aisle was added, and the nave was rebuilt it in 1875.
The church consists of chancel, nave, west tower, 3 Bay north aisle and south porch.
The tower is built of brick on sandstone fittings with a spirelet on top. The east window was altered in 1967 for the insertion of glass to commemorate Sarah Venetia d' Avigdor Goldsmid, who drowned in a sailing accident in 1963 aged 21. This was the first of the series of designs by Chagall.

Most of the windows are 19th century, and all of them have been glazed to the designs of Marc Chagall.
In the chancel there is a tomb chest to George Fane of 1571, and a brass to Thomas and Marion Stidulf, died 1475. Their granddaughter, Agnes, married Richard Fane, father to George, in 1511.
There is a further marble matrix in the floor with missing brasses.

The organ is situated at the west end on a Gallery. It is a small organ originally by Roger Pulham.
