It has been many years since the building was used for teaching. The pupils had to take a penny per week to pay the master. On the opposite side of the road there are two milestones formed out of stone about 15 feet apart and this spot was a stopping place for coach and horses on way to Omagh. There was once a Sod House formed at the side of the ditch and there was an old well.
