Q5303 : Track to Gowlane
near to Banage South, Kerry, Ireland
Track to Gowlane
A boggy track leads from Loch Bhearna na Gaoithr down to Gowlane. Most of the route is hardcore and not too hard to walk on. However, above 200m the track is grassy and very wet. The tracks in the photograph are the treads of sheep, not humans. I think the track is designed to direct sheep onto the higher, mountainous land.
