Seskinore, County Tyrone
The village of Seskinore was, largely, laid out and built by George Perry of Mullaghmore in the period 1780 - 1820. It was originally called Newtownparry but by the year 1843 was known as Seskinore; in that year it was described as a small village containing some good houses. The village once boasted two public houses but local tradition has it that these were closed by Lt. Col. George McClintock some years after he inherited the Perry Estate from his uncle, George Perry; the village has been dry ever since! The view is looking from the Moylagh Road towards the main street
