The 'Sea Energy' in Belfast
A closer view of the 'Sea Energy' seen in J3575 : Two unusual ships in Belfast.

The specialist ship 'Sea Energy' (see also LinkExternal link ) in the Musgrave Channel in Belfast docks, just in front of the Harland and Wolff building dock. This is an offshore construction vessel and will be used to construct the middle and top rotor sections of the turbines for the offshore windfarm at Robin Rigg in the Solway Firth. The different turbine sections have already been loaded on board, although, when this was taken, the ship had been in Belfast for almost two months - the windfarm project seems to be taking much longer than expected to complete.
