Bobbingworth: Abandoned cottages
by Nigel Cox geograph for square TL5004 Two years on from Robin's [[3506085]] and although the cottages do not appear markedly more dilapidated it has been deemed necessary to fence them in as a "Dangerous Structure". One would speculate that these would have originally been built for workers at the now abandoned Ongar Radio Station.

by Nigel Cox geograph for square TL1908 This is a repeat view of Stan's [[[895303]]] and sadly his worst fears about the loss of this building, expressed in the grid square discussion page, have long since come true. by Nigel Cox geograph for square TL2412 Please see [[4246903]] for details. Raw products were brought to the factory by rail and there was evidently a need to have three parallel siding lines to handle the demand. by Nigel Cox geograph for square SU7505 The remnants of Emsworth's once-extensive oyster beds and ponds can be seen here shortly before they are covered by the rising tide. The ponds were generally made of vertical planking with gravel beds.
