Ventry Lane, Belfast :: Shared Description

Part street and part entry, Ventry Lane runs from Ventry Street to the Dublin Road. Ventry Street appears in the 1861 street directory. Ventry Lane came along much later appearing in the 1901 edition with an “Eglantine Cottage” occupied by Robert Weir, RIC (Royal Irish Constabulary) and Isaac McCurry, builder.
