2012 the last two months

Being busy and IT issues have delayed my submission considerably. However, before we all forget that 2012 existed, I'll finish it off in readiness for starting the 2013 blogs.
Friday the 2nd started with an educational event at Cheltenham Racecourse SO9524 : Cheltenham Racecourse by Chris Allen.

The next day was spent in the Ironbridge Gorge with Ashley Dace - SJ6903 : Blists Hill Victorian Town - ironworks and furnaces by Chris Allen SJ6703 : The Iron Bridge, Ironbridge by Chris Allen SJ6605 : Coalbrookdale - Quaker Burial Ground by Chris Allen SJ6604 : Enginuity - hydraulic testing machine by Chris Allen. However, the real fun was after dark with the Blists Hill fireworks and the operation of the foundry and forge - SJ6903 : Blists Hill Victorian Town - foundry work by Chris Allen SJ6903 : Blists Hill Victorian Town - fireworks! by Chris Allen. The last picture got another PotY shortlisting but no medal!

Saturday 10th saw me at Leicester University for a mills conference - SK5902 : Leicester University - engineering building. by Chris Allen.

Also in November, Worcestershire Royal Hospital's mortuary refurbishment commenced - SO8754 : Building works, Worcestershire Royal Hospital by Chris Allen.

On the weekend of 24th and 25th I was visiting relatives in Yorkshire and visited Beverley on Saturday - TA0339 : Beverley market place and cross by Chris Allen and took power station pictures on Sunday - SE5724 : Eggborough Power Station by Chris Allen SE6627 : Drax Power Station by Chris Allen SE4824 : Road junction and railway bridge, Ferrybridge by Chris Allen.

December started with a visit to Birmingham for the German Xmas Market - SP0786 : German Xmas Market, Birmingham by Chris Allen SP0686 : Birmingham - soft toys galore by Chris Allen SP0686 : Priestley - inventor of the plastic bottle by Chris Allen.

Monday 3rd was a day of leisure to visit Oxford - SP5106 : The Covered Market, Oxford by Chris Allen SP5007 : Brasserie Blanc, Oxford by Chris Allen and the following day was at Bristol Zoo Gardens - ST5674 : Bristol Zoo Gardens - entrance by Chris Allen.

Meanwhile, the mortuary refurbishment was progressing - SO8754 : Worcestershire Royal Hospital - mortuary refurbishment by Chris Allen.

Finally on 27th I was in London - TQ3081 : British Museum by Chris Allen - en route to the Continent for the New Year.
