Some fascinating places you can't see without getting your feet wet (at the very least!).
The only photos I can find from a sandbank that can’t be reached on foot: Sarn Badrig (St Patrick’s Causeway) off the coast of Wales

Here's one I got last weekend - the highest land in the square[*], and it's below mean low tide! Probably one for the "extremes" collection, too...

Another pier end    inaccessible forts in the River Medway The Medway also has many islands that are bird reserves that are inaccessible without a boat.Plus this small island in the Swale  |
