There are 112 postboxes in the DT11 (Blandford Forum) postcode district, although four of those are within the Blandford Camp and, thus, with no public access are not included here. They are plotted on this map. Because this is a mainly rural area, there is a fair prevalence lamp and wall boxes over pillar boxes. Standard pillar boxes There are five standard-size pillar boxes in the area – respectively, one George V, three George VI and one Elizabeth II: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Modern pillar boxes There are five ‘Type K’ boxes, a familiar modern design, and these are by definition all Elizabeth II: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Large pillar boxes The area includes five of the fatter version of the pillar box; one Victorian, one George VI, and three Elizabeth II-reign: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Wall boxes There are 24 boxes, of whatever design, set into a brick structure.
