Geo-Trips :: Salisbury to Canterbury (21)
East Kent
A walk from Ash, Sun, 20 Oct 2013 by Chris Heaton
preceding leg | This trip is part of a series. |
From Ash, a walk through the orchards and pastures of the Thanet countryside took me to the charming village of Wingham.
Onto Ingham and Littlebourne on an improvised course, from where the landscape became more wooded.
Problems occurred through Canterbury Golf Course, as I became totally lost and disorientated. This was due to lack of signing on the public footpaths, but eventually managed to crash through a hedgerow onto a track that led to the A257.
This main road was followed into Canterbury and the end of the walking project.
Distance:- 11 miles
