Geo-Trips :: Cairn Cattoch and Archiestown
Speyside
A walk from Archiestown, Mon, 15 Mar 2021 by Anne Burgess
We followed the forest road up from the Square in Archiestown, turned right on to the next higher road and then left to reach the end of the path to Cairn Cattoch, where we stopped for lunch and to admire the views from the summit. Then we returned to the road and took a different route back, via the forest quarry, to reach the public road a little east of Archiestown. On the way back to the Square we admired some of the Listed buildings in the village.
Click the blue circles to see a photograph taken from that spot and read further information about the location. The blue lines indicate the direction of view. There is also a slideshow of this trip. ( )
