Geo-Trips :: Huntly and Kinnoir Wood from Huntly

Huntly and Kinnoir Wood

A walk from Huntly, Mon, 19 Jul 2021 by Anne Burgess

After a short stroll around part of Huntly, we crossed the river and the railway and walked a circular route in Kinnoir Wood. However we were unable to find the path, shown on the map, to cross into Battlehill Wood, so we had to retrace our steps for part of the way back.

Click the blue circles to see a photograph taken from that spot and read further information about the location. The blue lines indicate the direction of view. There is also a slideshow of this trip. ( )
