Geo-Trips :: Woking woke? Wake up Woking (3)
Woking
A walk from The Lightbox, Thu, 30 Dec 2021 by Basher Eyre
preceding leg | This trip is part of a series. |
Back in Woking, I dropped my mother and sister off at The Lightbox and spotted a cricketer, well two - The Bedser Twins. A helpful passer-by told me Eric had smashed Alec's leg cutter over Victoria Way where it had stuck on a wall ever since! Navigating past the Hilton and Boundary Park I made my way up to the retail park in Monument Road and back via Maybury Road and an unexpected pair of war memorials.
Click the blue circles to see a photograph taken from that spot and read further information about the location. The blue lines indicate the direction of view. There is also a slideshow of this trip. ( )
