NH2929 : Creag Liath Clearing

taken 15 years ago, near to Tomich, Highland, Scotland

Creag Liath Clearing
Creag Liath Clearing
Creag Liath (Grey crag) hill, 259m, is in the mid ground, at the foot of the rainbow. The area was left clear of forest, as several Hydro electric installations are nearby. The underground water pipe line, from Loch Beinn a' Mheadhoin (Loch Benevean) to Fasnaskyle Power Station also flows underneath.
The track to the right, leads to a bridge above Badger Falls, on the River Affric. The less distinct, but new forestry road on the left, leads through Comar Wood, to Glen Cannich.
