SE1019 : Well tended verge

taken 15 years ago, near to Elland, Calderdale, England

Well tended verge
Well tended verge
A well tended verge at Kew Hill. The owners of the cottage, out of shot on the right, look after this verge and it is pleasing to see. It is right on a tight bend on a narrow lane that locals use at rush hour to avoid the queues at the nearby Ainley Top roundabout. From right to left you can see the Golden Fleece public house, the disused Blackley brickworks and Blackley Baptist church.
