NG8750 : The Boat House

taken 16 years ago, 4 km SE of Balgy, Highland, Scotland

The Boat House.
The Boat House.
The Boat House sits on the shoreline of Loch Damh nestled at the foot of Beinn Damh, or "hill of the stag". A fantastic place rich in an abundance of wildlife, we have encountered many a highland beastie up here. Adders, slow worms, common lizards, jays, golden eagles, black-throated divers and red deer to name just a few.
