Barrack Street railway yard, Dundalk
A line ran from the South Jct, south of Dundalk station, to Windmill Road Jct where it formed an end-on junction with the Dundalk, Newry and Greenore Railway. The line beyond Barrack Street (Dundalk side of Windmill Road) closed in 1955 but the rest remained open as a goods yard (later container terminal) until 1995. The silos in the background are at Dundalk harbour. See also J0406 : The Barrack Street line, Dundalk.
