See J3070 : Shelter on Platform 2 at Finaghy. Finaghy station was not always in such condition. When this was taken it still retained a standard GNR(I) shelter and wooden platforms. The permanent way included flat-bottomed rail on wooden sleepers on the down line and bullhead rail on the up line (left). The view is towards Lisburn as a CIE locomotive runs light to Belfast Grosvenor Road goods yard. J3070 : Finaghy station, Belfast (2) shows a similar view in 2010.
