Whale on beach near Aberthaw Power Station
The Humpback Whale was beached dead in c1984. In the background can be seen the caisson where water is taken for cooling purposes at the power station. The two smaller objects in the sea are the discharges from Aberthaw A Power Station.
The remains of the whale are on display in the National Museum of Wales in Cardiff.
