Lightmoor Colliery Engine House - Forest of Dean
Lightmoor Colliery Engine House - Forest of Dean
Now situated in a working timber yard, Lightmoor Colliery was a big coal producing mine with this large engine house to raise coal from the deep seams underground. It is, alas, swiftly falling into ruin but still makes an interesting stop on the Family Cycle path which runs beside it.
