This was the site of two former institutions, Brian Gallagher's ice cream parlour which was absorbed into the bar in 1973 and Charlie Hunt's shop which is now the lounge area of the pub. He sold bacon and pork products. This old landlord's name sign has been retained over the door on the right H4472 : Landlord's name sign, John Street, Omagh
