Stubb drainage mill - made redundant
Stubb drainage mill - made redundant
Stubb drainage windpump was built between 1795 and 1825 by Sir George Berney Brograve, 1st Baronet (1726-1797), who also built Brograve mill > Link and a number of other drainage pumps in the area. Stubb mill used to pump water into the Meadow dyke further to the south. Today the mill is disused, having been replaced by the modern pumping station adjoining it. The mill is located at the end of Stubb Road.
