Work (expected to last until March) is underway on improvements to the revetments on the Lagan immediately downstream of the King’s Bridge J3471 : The King's Bridge, Belfast. This pontoon serves two purposes – one as a platform for the excavator and the other to make users of the river aware that the western span is closed to navigation.
