Vacant houses, Belfast

Two vacant houses, on the Stranmillis Road, close to Ridgeway Street. Not too common and, perhaps, awaiting demolition and replacement by apartments. Houses in the area traditionally have large gardens to the rear.

Development site, Stranmillis, Belfast

A development site (Nos 1-3 Ridgeway Street and 130-134 Stranmillis Road), advertised for sale as a “Superb redevelopment opportunity . . . . . site area c. 3,875 sq ft (360 sq m)”. I understand that the site has planning permission (Z/2010/1433/F on 21 December 2011) for eight two-bed apartments and two car parking spaces.
