S S Stott horizontal tandem compound engine lying out of use. The office vigorously denied its existence but the door was not locked and I was feeling naughty - it was a very long time ago now. It had been lying in a local scrapyard (since the 1980s) and has donated some parts to the restoration of the Grane Mill engine. The remains have now been scrapped.
