Before the building of the Queen Elizabeth Bridge J3474 : The Queen Elizabeth Bridge, Belfast, the commercial quay at Donegall Quay J3474 : Donegall Quay, Belfast (2008) extended south to the Queen’s Bridge J3474 : The Queen's Bridge, Belfast. A short section, including these steps, remains after more than 40 years. There is no official public access – the section of quay is protected by a locked gate. Note: Donegall Quay is also the name of the public road passing here - it is still open to traffic.
