Telford's Aqueduct at Longdon
Telford's Aqueduct at Longdon
This fine cast iron aqueduct was built by Thomas Telford in 1796 to carry the Shropshire Union Canal over the River Tern. It now stands abandoned in the fields and is in surprisingly good condition.
